Background: Sectio caesarea surgery is a surgical procedure that causes a lot of anxiety. Sectio caesarea causes tension / stress that varies from mild to severe. Research Objectives: To explore the available research evidence regarding the relationship between knowledge of sectio caesarea and preoperative anxiety levels in pregnant women. Research Methods: Using a descriptive method, with an online website media instrument to search for Open Journal System (OJS) research articles. This type of research is a literature review by reviewing 5 journals. Data analysis is done in the form of Population, Intervention, Comparison/Control and Outcome. Results: From the results of the exploration of existing articles, it was found that 60% of the research that had been done showed a relationship between knowledge of sectio caesarea and anxiety levels and as many as 40% concluded that there was no relationship between knowledge level of sectio caesarea and anxiety. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of sectio caesarea affects the level of anxiety in pregnant women patients. Although there are previous studies that state there is no relationship but more research proves the existence of a relationship between the two.
